The Lawn Sicario

About The Lawn Sicario

The town takes its name from the creek, and the creek took its from water that ran copper-tinted through this notch in the hills long before anybody planted a lawn in it. The Lawn Sicario works that same ground with a certain exactness: the mow laid down even, the edge cut to a hard border along walk and drive, the weeds along the foundation and out of the concrete joints taken out at the root rather than tipped off at the top. Late in the day, with the light going long across the yard, the difference between a lawn that was cut and one that was finished is impossible to miss. Trimming closes out the corners and the fence line, and every last clipping comes off the pavement before the truck leaves. Precision is the point, and Copperas Cove yards wear it well.
