Harry's Lawn Service

About Harry's Lawn Service

There is a stand of shade over at the Copperas Cove city park where people go in summer to get out from under the sun, and half the town's yards are trying to do the same thing on a smaller scale. Harry's Lawn Service runs a route, which means the same streets on the same day, so a customer knows what Tuesday looks like without having to ask. The mowing is even, the edges are cut along walk and drive, the strip out by the mailbox gets trimmed rather than skipped, and the clippings come off the concrete before the truck moves on. Doing a place every week teaches you its habits — the wet corner, the spot that always browns first — and the cut gets better for knowing them. It is steady work for neighbors, and it looks like it.
