About Cross Cut LLC

On a July afternoon along House Creek the thunderheads stack up west of Copperas Cove, tall and white, and everybody working outdoors watches them the way sailors watch water. Cross Cut LLC times the route around that, getting the mowing done while the light is flat and the ground still firm. The name is on the ground when the job is finished: the pass laid one direction this week and across it the next, so the turf never learns to lie one way and every lot picks up a faint crosshatch in the afternoon sun. Edges are cut in after the mow, the trimmer taken around posts and A/C pads, then the drive and walk blown clear down to bare concrete. If the rain does arrive, it falls on a yard already squared away.
