About Patriot construction

There is a town called Cool in western Parker County, out along US Highway 180 in the Cross Timbers, where the summer sun seems determined to make a joke of the name. Mesquite and blackjack oak dot the ranchland, and yards here have to stand up to July heat, dry wind and thin, rocky ground. Patriot construction provides lawn care for properties in Cool, keeping grass cut, trimmed and squared away. There is a plain-spoken pride in a neat yard under that enormous North Texas sky, the sort of neatness that holds even when the afternoon pushes past a hundred degrees. In a place this small and this open, a cared-for lawn stands out for miles.
