About Segura's Landscaping

Before the sun clears the pines, fog is still lying low over the San Jacinto's West Fork and the grass in Conroe is heavy with dew. Segura's Landscaping starts the day there, headlights swinging across a wet yard, mower deck set high for St. Augustine that has been drinking all week. Mowing, edging along the walk, trimming the fence line, blowing the clippings off the drive — the work is plain and the result is not. By mid-morning the cut lies all in one direction and the edge along the curb is clean enough to read from the street. Sandy loam, Gulf humidity, and grass that keeps growing most of the year: that is the ground this crew works, week after week, across Conroe and the towns beside it.
