The Green Tree

About The Green Tree

By November the pine straw in Shenandoah lies in drifts, the oaks turn slowly, and yards along the Woodlands edge need hands more than horsepower. The Green Tree spends those weeks raking, blowing and clearing — leaves off the lawn, needles out of the beds, debris hauled off instead of stacked by the road. Through the growing months the same properties get regular mowing, trimming around trunks and fences, and edges recut so the grass never creeps over the concrete. Winter cutting is a light affair in Montgomery County, but the tidying never really stops. A yard kept this way carries its shape straight through to spring without a gap.
