About AMS Lawn Services

By two in the afternoon, the heat coming off Loop 336 stands up in visible waves and most of Conroe has gone indoors. That is when AMS Lawn Services is still out — mowing, edging along the walk, trimming the fence line, blowing the drive down before the truck pulls away. Bermuda and St. Augustine both run hard here from April to October, and keeping up with them means showing up on schedule whether the sky is white with haze or stacking thunderheads over the west. The payoff comes in the last five minutes: the blower's arc, the driveway going from green-flecked to gray, the yard suddenly reading as finished. A Conroe lawn can look after itself for about nine days; the work is in never letting it get there.
