About C&S Lawn Services

Columbus grew up inside a bend of the Colorado River, and the live oaks along its streets are old enough that whole blocks stay ten degrees cooler than the highway. C&S Lawn Services works those shaded yards — mowing, edging drives and walks, trimming around trunks and beds, hedge trimming, and clearing whatever comes down. Under that much canopy the grass grows thin and uneven, so the cut has to be gentle and the cleanup thorough. Summer holds the river-bottom humidity and everything grows twice; at the turn of the year the acorns and leaves arrive all at once. A tidy yard beneath big trees is a particular kind of good-looking, and it takes doing.
