Colmesneil lives under pine — loblolly and shortleaf closing in over the county roads, needles coming down on every lawn in Tyler County no matter the month. JT's Landscaping works with that rather than against it: mowing, edging, string trimming the ditch lines, raking and blowing pine straw off the turf and walks, and cutting overgrown yards back to something a person can walk across. Summer is humid enough here that the growing never really stops, and the Neches bottoms keep the air heavy right into October. Cut a shaded East Texas yard clean and the whole property brightens, as if somebody opened a window. That change is worth the sweat it takes.
