The Fertilizer Guy

About The Fertilizer Guy

In March the shoulders of Highway 6 south of College Station go blue with bluebonnets, and the whole prairie seems to decide at once that it is spring. Texas Quality Lawns opens the season right there — first cuts of the year, edges re-cut after a dormant winter, trimming along fences and beds, and hauling off everything the cold months piled in the corners. The sky out this way is enormous and the wind comes straight across open pasture, so a freshly mown yard reads from a block off. The pride is in the parts nobody photographs: a sharp line where turf meets sidewalk, not a clipping left on the drive. Homes and properties in College Station, Bryan, Franklin and Hearne.
