About Blue Landscaping

April along the Highway 6 right-of-way is the one stretch of the year when the shoulders do all the showing off, bluebonnets running to the fence line while the rest of the valley catches up. Blue Landscaping begins its days in about that same color — the hour before sunrise, when the sky over College Station has not committed yet and the first cut of the morning goes down in cool air. The work is mowing, edging, string trimming and blowing the walks clean, week after week from the first warm spell clear through to the last. Lawns in this soil answer fast to attention and just as fast to neglect. Keeping one on the right side of that line is the entire job, and it is a good one to have.
