About Austins Lawn Services

Out toward Rock Prairie Road the land opens up and you can watch weather arrive an hour before it gets to you — thunderheads stacking white in the west, then going grey along the bottom. Austins Lawn Services reads that sky all summer, because a route out here means finishing the mowing, the edging and the trimming before the first fat drops hit the driveway. There is a particular pleasure in beating a storm: yard squared away, clippings blown off the concrete, ramp up as the wind turns cool. Two days later the grass has leapt and the whole route comes around again. That is the shape of a College Station summer, and this is work built to match it.
