About Vargas Lawn Care

Late in a Liberty County afternoon the Gulf air stacks itself into thunderheads out over the Trinity bottom, and there is a gold half hour before the rain when everything freshly cut looks its finest. Vargas Lawn Care knows that window and uses it. Mowing, edging, string trimming, hedge and bed work, cleanups and hauling the clippings away — all of it at the pace this country demands, because a Cleveland yard in July can go from squared away to overtaken in ten hot, wet days. The satisfaction is in standing back at the end: the pass lines running straight, the border along the front walk as sharp as a pencil stroke, the driveway blown clear before the first drops hit. That's the week, and the next one, from Cleveland out toward Dayton, Splendora and Coldspring.
