Top Notch Lawn Service

About Top Notch Lawn Service

By late October the pecans along the creek bottoms south of Cleburne begin letting go, and every yard in town takes on a shifting brown blanket that arrives faster than most people can keep up with. Top Notch Lawn Service runs the fall stretch hard — mowing while the grass still asks for it, raking and blowing leaves out of the beds and off the drives, and hauling the piles away instead of leaving them to mat down and smother the turf. There is a moment near dusk when the last load is on the trailer, the walkway is clear from gate to porch, and the lawn holds its lines against a low orange sky. Winter here is short and unserious, but a yard put to bed properly comes back stronger in March. Cleburne, Grandview and Alvarado all get the same October push.
