Coy's Lawn Care

About Coy's Lawn Care

US 287 runs straight through Claude and out into a horizon that does not end, and on a summer evening the thunderheads stand up over it like cliffs. In town the streets are short, the shelterbelt trees lean the way the wind pushes them, and the lawns get their turn from Coy's Lawn Care: mowing, edging, string trimming around trees and posts, and clearing the concrete afterward. Armstrong County asks a lot of a lawn — heat, wind, sun with nothing in its way — so the ones that hold up are the ones kept on a schedule. Pulling away from a yard cut even and edged sharp, with the whole Panhandle sky over it, is a good way to end a day. Claude and the surrounding towns are covered.
