About Arriaga Services Co.

Morning comes slowly to the Lost Pines — fog off the Colorado River sits in the loblollies until the sun burns it out of the trees, and only then does the grass dry enough to cut. Arriaga Services Co. works those sandy Bastrop County lots around Circle D, mowing, edging, string trimming and hauling the clippings clear so a yard reads clean under all that pine shade. Sand and pine straw make their own kind of lawn out here, and it takes a patient hand. The payoff is the moment the mower shuts off and the place looks cared for, quiet and ready for the day. Around Circle D and out toward Cedar Creek and Bastrop, that is the standing errand.
