About McLean Landscaping

Chico sits in the Cross Timbers where the post oaks close in and the sandy Wise County soil drains fast, so June grass here grows in bursts between rains. McLean Landscaping works with that pattern, cutting high enough to shade the roots and keep the lawn from scorching by the Fourth of July. Trimming tidies the base of the oaks and the run of the fence, and edging sets a firm line along the drive where the sand always wants to wander. Clippings are cleared, not left in windrows to yellow in the sun. Evenings on the way toward Lake Bridgeport, the finished yards along the road hold the light like cut velvet.
