Hudson's Lawns

About Hudson's Lawns

The first true cool front of October comes down over the prairie overnight, and Celina wakes up to a different air entirely, dry and bright, with the elms and pecans finally deciding to let go. Hudson's Lawns spends that stretch of the calendar chasing leaves off lawns and hard surfaces, working them into piles that make a whole afternoon look accomplished. Mowing carries on into the fall as long as the grass asks for it, with edges kept crisp and beds cleared for the season ahead. It is good weather for outdoor work, the kind that makes a long day feel shorter than it was. Ending on a lawn that is open, clean and combed out is the best part of autumn here.
