Solid Roots Lawn & Services

About Solid Roots Lawn & Services

Scratch a few inches into a Cedar Park yard and you meet the Hill Country's answer: caliche, then limestone, the pale bones of the Balcones country holding up a thin skin of soil. Grass that thrives on top of that has done real work, and Solid Roots Lawn & Services keeps its half of the bargain — mowing on a rhythm, trimming close around the junipers and post oaks, keeping beds clean so what is planted can go down instead of sideways. Spring arrives all at once here, bluebonnets on the ranch-road shoulders west of town and every lawn asking for attention in the same week. The reward comes later, in a yard that holds its color deep into a Texas summer because the root took hold first. The route runs from Cedar Park out toward Leander, Liberty Hill, Jonestown and Lago Vista.
