About Stelly's Lawn Care Services

Once or twice a winter a hard freeze reaches down this far, and Castle Hills wakes to stiff brown lawns, a rim of ice on the birdbath and everything holding still until noon. Stelly's Lawn Care Services works the shoulder seasons that bracket that morning — taking the grass down as it goes dormant, clearing leaves and spent stems out of the beds and off the paths, then meeting the green-up on the other side with the first cut of the year. Through the growing months it is the weekly round of cutting, edging, trimming and clearing off. Winter here is brief and a little theatrical, but a yard that goes into it tidy comes out of it fast. That is the plan, every year.
