Jerry's Lawn & Yard Service

About Jerry's Lawn & Yard Service

North of Castle Hills the land tilts up toward the Balcones Escarpment, where San Antonio quits being flat and the Hill Country begins, so a Saturday route through these blocks runs slightly uphill all morning. Jerry's Lawn & Yard Service works that route trailer-first and early, before the day has formed any strong opinion about heat. Mow, edge, string-trim, blow the clippings clear, load up, next house. Yard work here is a long haul — grass asking to be cut from March into November — so the point is a rhythm that keeps pace rather than one heroic day of catching up. By sundown the street looks combed, which is a fine way to finish a Saturday.
