About Green With Envy

April along the roadsides north of Castle Hills fills in with bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush, and for a few weeks the whole north side of San Antonio is showing off. Green With Envy spends that stretch keeping yards level with the spring — mowing on a tight interval, cutting the borders in, trimming the fence lines and hauling the growth away. Spring here is short and wildly generous; a lawn given two weeks off in April comes back a different animal entirely. So the schedule holds, and the color holds with it, deep and unbroken from curb to porch step. Neighbors notice, which is more or less what the name is about.
