About Cutting Edge Services

South of town the water at Lake Murvaul goes copper in the last hour of light, and that is Cutting Edge Services' favorite hour to finish — the mower quiet, the yard striped, the smell of cut grass hanging in warm air. Their work in Carthage is mowing and edging, string trimming the fence lines and mailbox posts, and a good blow-down of every walk and driveway before the trailer gate goes up. East Texas grass grows hard from April into October and it takes steady hands to keep pace with it. They keep the pace. A yard out along the Murvaul road ought to look like somebody meant it.
