About Dr. Green Services

Under Carrollton sits blackland clay, and by late August it opens in seams wide enough to lose a screwdriver in — soil that rewards anyone willing to read it. Dr. Green Services works with that ground rather than against it: fertilization timed to the warm-season grasses, weed control before seed heads set, aeration to break the compaction that follows a long dry stretch. The difference shows up slowly and then all at once, in a lawn that greens earlier in spring and holds color deeper into the fall. Mowing and edging keep the picture clean while the soil work does its part underneath. Turf that stands up to a North Texas summer is built in the seasons before it.
