Butler's Irrigation

About Butler's Irrigation

Night is when water works hardest in Carl's Corner. Long after the Hill County fields have given up the day's heat, irrigation of the kind Butler's Irrigation provides can be doing its quietest work in the dark, when little is lost to sun or wind. The black, heavy soil here takes a slow watering and holds onto it, so a lawn on a well-set system meets the dawn cool and green. Through the dry stretch of July, that difference shows plainly from the road. You mostly notice this craft by the brown that never comes.
