Marnell Lawn

About Marnell Lawn

When a real rain finally reaches the Panhandle the playas fill overnight, shallow silver lakes standing in fields that were dust the day before, and every lawn in Amarillo jumps a week's growth in about three days. Marnell Lawn is built for that surge — mowing on a schedule that keeps up when the grass gets ambitious, edging and trimming so a flush of growth still reads tidy, clippings blown clear of walks and patios. Weed control matters most right then, because everything germinates at once and the fast starters win. Aeration and fertilization make the next rain count for more than the last one did. The water sinks away inside a week; a well-kept yard keeps the good out of it far longer.
