About Malonescape

This high up — better than half a mile above the sea — a hundred-degree afternoon still lets go around nine, and the evening turns genuinely cool. Malonescape likes that hour best, when the last yard of the day is freshly mown and the smell of it is still hanging in the blue light. The days themselves are mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup on a set rotation through Canyon, and the payoff is a lawn that looks intentional from the curb. Autumn brings raking and hauling; the short days bring cutting back and neatening up. Same ground, different chores, and always that same finish at the end.
