About Straight edge gardening and maintenance

A yard reads as cared for or not in about a second, and nearly all of it is the line — where lawn meets walk, where bed meets grass. Straight edge gardening and maintenance draws those lines around Canyon Creek and then keeps them: garden bed upkeep, weeding and planting care, mowing, trimming and regular yard maintenance. Spring in these hills goes from wildflowers along the roadside to everything growing at once, and the beds need a hand before the grass and the cedar make the decision for you. Late in the day, with the heat coming off the limestone and the work finished, a clean border catches the last of the sun. Tidy is not a small thing; it is most of what people mean by beautiful.
