Platypus Lawn Care

About Platypus Lawn Care

Down in the creek bottoms east of town the fog sits low until the sun clears the trees, and the grass is still heavy with dew when the first cut of the day begins. Platypus Lawn Care runs Canton yards on that early schedule — mowing, string trimming around beds and posts, edging the walk, blowing the drive clear before the heat arrives. The name gets a smile, and then the lawn does the rest of the talking. A yard mowed while it is still cool holds its color better through the afternoon, which is reason enough to start when the light is gray. By mid-morning the truck has moved on and the block looks like nobody was ever there.
