About Clear Cut Land, LLC

A pasture reclaims itself fast in East Texas — yaupon, briar and volunteer cedar creep in from the fenceline until a place you could once see across has closed in. Clear Cut Land, LLC opens it back up: clearing brush and undergrowth, cutting back overgrown lots and fencelines, then mowing and maintaining the ground once it is usable again. Winter is the good time for it, when the leaves are down and you can read the lay of the land — the low spot, the old road trace, the line where the timber ought to stop. There is a moment near the end of a clearing job when the view comes back all at once, and it is worth the diesel. Come spring the same acreage mows like it was always meant to.
