Danna Tree & Lawn Service

About Danna Tree & Lawn Service

Every few winters an ice storm slides down out of the north and hangs on the trees around Burnet until something gives. Danna Tree & Lawn Service is out after those nights — limbs cut off fences and drives, hangers brought down, crowns cleaned so the next freeze has less to grab. The rest of the year is the steady half of the trade: mowing, edging, trimming, brush and leaf cleanup, hauling away what a yard sheds. Trees grow slowly in this county and mean something, so pruning is done to keep them rather than to shorten them. Come spring the yard is clear, the wood is gone, and the shade is still exactly where it was.
