About Carter Landscaping & Land Services

Out past the subdivisions the lots get wide, the fence lines run long, and a lawn is measured in acres instead of squares. Carter Landscaping & Land Services works that country between Bulverde and Spring Branch, where cedar breaks crowd the property lines and grass hides ledges of limestone. Mowing here means knowing the ground before the deck finds it, cutting field and yard, then trimming the fence rows and gate aprons so the whole place reads as kept rather than merely cut. Big rains come sideways off the hills and the growth explodes for a month; then the dry sets in and the work turns to knocking back weeds and clearing the brush that creeps toward the drive. The reward is a long look down a clean fence line at the end of a working day.
