About 1836 FREEDOM LANDSCAPING AND LAWNS

State Highway 46 leaves Bulverde heading west through oak mottes and pale caliche cuts, and that is the road this lawn care outfit travels while the light is still low and gold. Mowers come off the trailer with dew still holding in the Bermuda, and by mid-morning the yards along the ranch roads are striped clean and the walks blown bare. 1836 Freedom Landscaping and Lawns keeps the recurring rounds that hold a Hill Country property together — cutting at a height that respects the heat, edging a true line where turf meets concrete, trimming close around fence posts and mailbox stones. Spring pushes growth faster than anyone can plan for; late summer asks for patience with grass gone the color of hay. Either way the job is finished all the way to the end, with nothing left in the street and nothing shaggy at the corners.
