About BGE Services

Spring rain reaches Buda from the west, piling up over the Hill Country before it drops down the escarpment and lands all at once on Garlic Creek and the streets around it. BGE Services comes along a day or two behind, once the ground has firmed and the grass has jumped ahead of itself overnight. Mowing, string trimming around fence posts and mailbox pipes, edging the sidewalk back to a line, clearing the beds of whatever the wind carried over. The second pass is the satisfying one, when the cut evens out and a yard settles into the green it only holds in April. The work carries across Buda and out toward Kyle, Manchaca and Dripping Springs.
