About J & R Lawn Care and Landscaping

September around the Howard Payne blocks has a tempo all its own — students back, sprinklers running at odd hours, the grass making one more push before the nights start to cool. J & R Lawn Care and Landscaping works those streets and the ones spreading out from them: mowing and trimming, edging walks and drives, shaping shrubs, refreshing beds and mulch. Landscape work here is patient work — the right plant in the right corner, a bed line that follows the house instead of fighting it. Week to week it is simply keeping faith with a yard. Over a full season it adds up to a place that looks composed from the sidewalk.
