About Gold Cactus Services

West of Brownwood the country opens into mesquite and prickly pear, and about an hour before sundown the whole of it turns the color the pads already are — gold with a little rust worked in. Gold Cactus Services carries that unfussy, dry-country sensibility into town lawns and out onto the places past the city limit. Mowing and trimming, edging, weed control, bed cleanup, and clearing the rough corners where mesquite is quietly trying its luck. Grass out this way doesn't ask to be pampered; it asks to be handled right and handled on time. Done that way, even a hard summer yard holds its shape all the way to fall.
