About Derricks Outdoor Services

Pecan Bayou takes its slow bend through Brownwood and carries a little coolness with it into the evening, under pecans that have been throwing shade along that water a long while. Derricks Outdoor Services works the yards that slope down toward that green line and the flat streets sitting above it. Mowing and trimming week to week, edging, brush and clippings hauled off, and full cleanups when the leaves finally give up in the fall. Out here a property is half lawn and half everything else — fence lines, drainage swales, the ragged strip nobody claims — and all of it gets attention. There is a real satisfaction in the last look back before the gate swings closed.
