About Fat Boys Tree Service

A Gulf storm can cross Brookshire in under an hour and leave the whole afternoon smelling of torn green wood and wet dirt. Fat Boys Tree Service handles what it leaves behind — storm damage cleanup that gets a hackberry off a fence and a split limb out of the driveway, plus the tree removal a trunk sometimes needs once the damage runs down into the crotch. The rest of the year is steadier: tree trimming and pruning along Bessie's Creek and through the neighborhoods off the interstate, keeping canopies high and open so the humidity has somewhere to go. Bottomland grows fast here, and the difference between a yard kept up and one left alone shows inside a single season. Brookshire and the towns west along the freeway are all worked out of the same shop.
