Garcia Lawn Service

About Garcia Lawn Service

By August the West Fork of the Trinity runs low and green under the bridges east of town, and the good working light comes late, after five, when shade finally reaches across a yard. Garcia Lawn Service keeps to that rhythm through the hot months, and the sound of a mower carries down a Bridgeport street the way familiar sounds do. Bermuda grass here grows hard in the heat and quits at the first freeze, so summer is a weekly conversation and fall a slower one. They cut at a height that holds moisture, run the trimmer along fences and flower beds, and leave the sidewalk and driveway tidy. Come evening the yard is squared away and the porch is worth sitting on.
