Beckendorf Lawn Service & Repair

About Beckendorf Lawn Service & Repair

By six in the evening the light lies low and gold across the brick of downtown Brenham, and the day's last yard gets its finishing pass. Beckendorf Lawn Service & Repair works the streets running off the courthouse square and the newer lots at the edge of town, mowing, edging and clearing away whatever the week left behind. There is craft in the small things — a trimmed line where turf meets sidewalk, a curb blown clean so nothing tracks into the street. Summer here can push a lawn hard from June onward, and the reply is a cut at the right height at the right time. When the pecans start letting go in November, the rakes and the trailer come out.
