Ed's Mowing Service

About Ed's Mowing Service

Sweeny afternoons in summer keep a standing appointment with a thunderhead: it stacks up off the coast, darkens the prairie south of town, and turns the light green just before it opens. Ed's Mowing Service works around that clock, getting yards cut and blown clean ahead of the rain and coming back once the ground firms up again. Mowing, edging, trimming, hauling the debris away — not complicated, but on a coastal plain where the grass barely takes a winter off, keeping up is the entire job. The reward is a stretch of even turf with a hard edge along the drive and not one blade left on the concrete. Out here, that reads from clear across the yard.
