About Portillo Tree & Landscaping Service

Look up in Live Oak and you're looking straight at the reason the town has its name — wide crowns spread over rooftops, over streets, over half the yards in this corner of Bexar County. Portillo Tree & Landscaping Service works the canopy and the ground beneath it both: trimming and pruning limbs, lifting crowns off roofs, clearing deadwood and hauling away whatever comes down. Below that it is landscaping and lawn work — mowing, edging, bed shaping, shrubs kept in form, mulch laid where the shade keeps grass from filling in. Oaks here are pruned with the calendar in mind, and the yard is left swept of every leaf and cut end. A well-tended tree carries a house for decades, and it shows from the curb.
