Grounded Landscaping

About Grounded Landscaping

Six inches down, Boerne is limestone. Every shovel in this county eventually rings on it, and every lawn here is a thin sheet of soil doing its best on top of bedrock. Grounded Landscaping starts from that fact rather than fighting it, working with what the Hill Country actually gives: shallow roots, quick drainage, grass that needs cutting at the right height to shade its own ground. In April, when the bluebonnets and paintbrush come up on the road cuts outside town, the yards want mowing twice a week and beds want clearing before the heat sets in. Sharp edges, clean beds, nothing left on the drive — the small disciplines that make a place look settled. The name says the rest.
