About Shepherd's Lawn Care and Landscaping

The Blanco River runs clear and cold under the cypress at the state park, right at the edge of town, and on a summer morning the mist sits on the water until the sun clears the bluff. Shepherd's Lawn Care and Landscaping works the yards up the slope from there, where thin soil over limestone makes every square foot of good grass something a person tends on purpose. Mowing, edging, string trimming, bed work and cleanup, timed to the Hill Country's long green stretch from March into October. The measure of a visit is simple: an even cut across uneven ground, borders held true along the rock and the walk, live oak leaf litter cleared out of the beds. A yard kept that way sits easily in this landscape instead of arguing with it.
