Jason's Lawn Care

About Jason's Lawn Care

Ben Wheeler tucks into the wooded hills of Van Zandt County, where pine gives way to hardwood and the yards are cut out of the timber rather than laid on open ground. Jason's Lawn Care mows, trims, edges and cleans up lawns around town and out on the county roads toward Edom and Canton. East Texas grows things whether you ask it to or not: shade grass in patches, weeds in the sun, leaves coming down half the year. The work is negotiating with all of that — the right cut height, trimming around trunks and fence lines, clearing the yard so the grass can breathe. When a place in the woods looks intentional, it is because someone made it that way, again and again.
