King Lawn Care

About King Lawn Care

January in Bellville is a mild, in-between month: the bermuda gone dormant and tan, the winter rye showing green in the low spots, the oaks still holding half their leaves. King Lawn Care carries the yard work through it — cleanups, trimming, edging, and mowing whenever a warm stretch gets the grass moving again. There is a quiet in this season that suits the work; the town is unhurried, the light is thin and clear, and a yard tidied in the cold stays tidy for weeks. Clearing the beds and cutting back the ragged growth now is what makes the first spring mowing easy. Every so often the work is simply getting a place ready to be beautiful later.
