About A1 Landscaping

Everything in Bellaire begins with the ground, and the ground here is gumbo clay, heavy as a wet coat after rain and stubborn as brick when the sun returns. A1 Landscaping plans around that, timing the mowing so the wheels do not rut a soaked yard and letting the clay drain before the edges get cut back sharp. In March, when azaleas go off along the older streets and the grass comes out of its short dormancy hungry, the work turns to feeding, weeding and getting the first real cuts of the year underneath the season. A yard on this soil that looks effortless has been read carefully by somebody. Bellaire and the surrounding Houston enclaves all sit on the same demanding earth.
