B & L Backyards

About B & L Backyards

Bear Creek threads quietly through Bedford, and the neighborhoods around it are old enough now that the shade trees have grown tall over the fences. B & L Backyards works behind those fences, in the part of a property nobody sees from the street but the family lives in every day: turf mowed even, borders edged, shrubs shaped, the back corners cleared of whatever has been piling up since fall. Spring in the mid-cities arrives loud, with storms rolling in off the prairie and grass jumping overnight, and summer settles in hot and long right after. Getting a backyard ready for that stretch is a genuine pleasure, because it turns into where the whole year gets spent. Mowing, trimming, cleanup, and a yard worth stepping out into.
