S & S Lawn Care

About S & S Lawn Care

North of town Village Creek runs tea-colored under the Big Thicket pines, and every fall those pines send needles down onto Beaumont lawns in a slow brown rain. S & S Lawn Care clears that season out, pulling needles and leaves off turf, beds and drip lines before the mat can set and smother the grass. Mowing carries on through the mild months, edging holds the line, and shrubs get their cut back while the weather is kind. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass of the blower, when a yard goes from cluttered to clean in about four minutes. Mowing, edging, trimming and leaf-and-needle cleanup, from the neighborhoods out to the pinewoods.
