Scott's Scapes

About Scott's Scapes

After dark in Bear Creek the stars come out thick over the hills, and white-tailed deer drift out of the oak groves to graze at the edges of the lawns. Daylight fills in what the night hid: rocky slopes, twisted live oaks, cedar thickets and homes set down among them. Scott's Scapes shapes and keeps yards in this small village, cutting the grass, defining the beds and drawing the boundary where lawn ends and native brush begins. That edge is where the craft shows. By morning, with dew on the grass and the deer gone back into the trees, the yard greets the day looking cared for.
